Lifetime Warranty
Halford Gear builds equipment to be relied on. Every bag and uniform we sell is warranted for the lifetime of the product against defects in materials and workmanship. If a product fails because we built it wrong, we will repair it, replace it, or refund it.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects only. It does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or the normal wear and tear that comes from using gear in the field.
Defects in materials and workmanship, for the lifetime of the product. For example:
- Seams or stitching that fail under normal use
- Zippers, buckles, or hardware that fail from a manufacturing fault
- Fabric or webbing that fails from a material defect
- Straps or attachment points that separate due to faulty construction
This warranty does not cover:
- Accidental damage — cuts, tears, punctures, burns, crushing, or damage from an accident or impact
- Normal wear and tear — fading, abrasion, scuffing, fraying, or the gradual breakdown that comes from regular use over time
- Misuse, abuse, or neglect, including loading a product beyond its intended use
- Damage from improper storage, improper cleaning, or unauthorized alteration or repair
- Products not purchased from Halford Gear or an authorized seller
- Cosmetic changes that do not affect how the product functions
Determination of coverage. Whether a claim is a manufacturing defect, accidental damage, or normal wear and tear is determined by Halford Gear at our sole discretion. We may ask for photos or for the product to be sent in for inspection. If a claim is covered, we choose the remedy — repair, replacement, or refund — at our discretion.
How to file a claim
- Email us with your order number and a description of the failure.
- Send clear photos of the defect and of the full product.
- We review the claim and, if needed, ask you to send the product in for inspection.
- If it's covered, we repair, replace, or refund it — and tell you which before we proceed.
Additional terms
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable. Proof of purchase is required. "Lifetime" means the usable service life of the product, not the lifetime of the purchaser; a product that has reached the end of its service life through normal use is not covered.
Shipping costs to send a product in for inspection are the responsibility of the customer unless we state otherwise. Halford Gear may update this warranty at any time; the version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to your product.
